I am a licensed cosmetologist specializing in healthy hair care, loc maintenance, silk presses, natural styling, and protective styles. My goal is to provide a professional, relaxing experience while helping clients maintain healthy, thriving hair. At HuMANE Hair Salon, healthy hair always comes first. I believe in educating clients, promoting proper hair care practices, and delivering quality services without compromising the integrity of your hair. All appointments must be scheduled through the booking link. ⸻ Location HuMANE Hair Salon 2116 Berkmar Drive, Unit C Charlottesville, VA 22901 ⸻ Booking Policy All appointments must be scheduled online through the booking link. Please ensure your phone number and email address are entered correctly when booking. This allows me to send appointment reminders, updates, and important service information. A non-refundable deposit is required to secure all appointments. Deposits are applied toward your service total. No appointment is reserved until the deposit has been paid. ⸻ Cancellation Policy I understand that emergencies happen. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please provide at least 24 hours notice. Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours notice will be charged 50% of the scheduled service. No-shows and same-day cancellations will be charged 100% of the scheduled service. Clients with three no-shows may be restricted from future bookings. ⸻ Late Policy A 10-minute grace period is provided. If you arrive more than 10 minutes late, your appointment may be canceled, shortened, or rescheduled depending on the remaining time available. Late arrivals may result in a fee and/or loss of services scheduled during that appointment. Please communicate if you are running behind so accommodations can be discussed when possible. ⸻ Children Policy Children must be at least 7 years old to receive services unless otherwise approved. For the comfort and safety of all guests, only clients receiving services should attend appointments unless prior arrangements have been made. ⸻ Hair Preparation Please arrive with your hair free of excessive product buildup and accessible for service. If your hair is heavily tangled, matted, or requires excessive preparation beyond the scheduled service, additional fees may apply. Detangling fees begin at $40 and increase based on the time required. Clients arriving from long-term protective styles should remove styles and detangle hair thoroughly before their appointment. ⸻ Loc Services Loc maintenance appointments should be scheduled regularly to ensure the health and integrity of your locs. Excessive new growth, major repairs, loc reconstruction, or severe matting may require additional time and fees. If extensive repairs are needed, a consultation may be required before booking. ⸻ Extension & Added Hair Services Clients providing their own hair must ensure it is clean, unused, and suitable for the selected service. HuMANE Hair Salon reserves the right to decline hair that may compromise the quality of the service or result. If you have questions about what hair to purchase, please contact me before booking. ⸻ Silk Press & Natural Hair Services Healthy hair is the priority. A silk press is not recommended for hair that is severely damaged, overly processed, or unable to withstand heat safely. Every silk press service includes shampoo, conditioning, blow dry, trim (if needed), and styling recommendations to help maintain your results. ⸻ Payment Methods Accepted forms of payment include: • Cash • Apple Pay • Zelle • Major Credit/Debit Cards Payment is due at the completion of service. ⸻ Professional Courtesy Please understand that HuMANE Hair Salon is a professional business.
